So you're interested in what we use to make stuff?! Here is a general breakdown if you would like to discuss specifics feel free to contact us.
We mostly use phones for shooting video. Most students have something in their pocket that will out perform a midrange handy-cam and they are getting better and better every year. By teaching them to use the device they have they will always feel confident to use it once they move beyond school.
To supplement student phones we have good heavy, robust video tripods. They have lasted much better than the cheaper lightweight 'travel tripods'. Two mobile specific gimbals. Shotgun and lapel microphones that work with mobile devices and 'five in one' reflectors, often the most useful function is the diffusing panel.
For more advanced work we have DSLR Cameras, a gimbal, a drone, a 360 camera, action cams, radio mic kits, an LED lighting kit, shotgun microphones and preamps and some green screen material.
We use the Adobe Creative Cloud suite for all our software needs except the occasional use of Handbrake (a free video conversion software, good for making apple media play nicely).
We have three souped-up editing PCs with 16GB Ram and dedicated graphics cards for more advanced projects.
Again, feel free to contact us if you have specific questions or want to know more.
